Privacy Policy

This page was last updated on June 4, 2026.

Collective2 LLC operates Collective2, a trading strategy marketplace and related services. This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to users.

California residents may opt out of sale/sharing for advertising at Your Privacy Choices. A concise notice is available at Notice at Collection.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as account registration details, profile information, billing and subscription information, support messages, forms, survey responses, trading strategy information, broker or platform setup information you choose to provide, and preferences.

We also collect information automatically when you use the site or application, including identifiers, internet or network activity, device and browser data, IP address, cookie identifiers, usage data, referral URLs, approximate location inferred from IP address, and logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide Collective2 services, process billing, deliver customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, debug and improve the site, understand product usage, communicate with users, and measure marketing performance.

Session Replay and Interaction Recording

We may use session replay and similar technologies to record and analyze how users interact with our site and application, including pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, browser/device information, errors, and other usage interactions. We use this information for debugging, customer support, security, fraud prevention, service improvement, dispute resolution, and legal/compliance purposes. We configure these tools to avoid collecting sensitive information where practical.

These tools record browser interactions with Collective2. They do not record video of your physical screen, webcam, microphone, or activity outside the browser.

Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies

We use analytics and advertising tools to understand site activity, measure campaigns, attribute signups and purchases, and improve our marketing. These tools may receive limited identifiers and internet or network activity, such as cookie IDs, IP address, browser/device information, page URLs, event data, and conversion information.

Collective2 does not sell personal information for money. We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is used under California law, including through advertising, retargeting, attribution, custom audience, or similar marketing tools. You can opt out of this sharing at Your Privacy Choices.

Collective2 may set and access cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for login, security, account features, and site operation. Other technologies may support analytics, advertising measurement, support, or product improvement.

Global Privacy Control

Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as an opt-out from sale/sharing for advertising and suppress nonessential advertising trackers where the signal can be detected and applied.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We disclose information to service providers and partners who help us operate, secure, support, analyze, and improve Collective2; process payments; provide infrastructure; deliver customer support; and perform other services on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. California residents also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at [email protected]. To opt out of sale/sharing for advertising, use Your Privacy Choices.

Your Ability to Edit or Remove Account Information

You can edit your Collective2 account information, including marketing preferences, at any time through your account settings where available. Users can opt out of receiving future marketing communications by following instructions contained in a message they receive. We may still send service announcements, administrative messages, transactional messages, and security notices.

You can request account removal at https://collective2.com/removeaccount.

Confidentiality and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Your Collective2 account information is password-protected, and Collective2 uses SSL/TLS encryption for data transmissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, and keep business records. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirement.

Session replay recordings are kept for a limited period, generally 30 to 90 days, unless a recording is specifically preserved for customer support, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, litigation, legal, or compliance reasons.

Data Protection Officer and Contact

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer. You can contact the person by emailing [email protected].

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Collective2 may update this policy. We will notify users about significant changes by posting an updated policy or by using another legally appropriate notice method.
